Used an antique color setting for this shot to try and give it an older photo or polaroid picture look.

This was going to be my first choice for the weekly challenge of ‘sea’ because I felt a wide angle or panoramic view of the ocean kind of shows a greater magnitude of what the word ‘sea’ means to me. However, I changed my mind last minute after reflecting on my trip to Hawaii and the clear and bright blue waters which I remember there.

Boats at Santa Barbara which appear to be rested and anchored in the middle of the sea. I’m not much of a seaman or mariner but I suspect when the harbor is overcrowded and the weather is fair, boats can be docked off the docks.

The pier of Santa Barbara. Anytime I see or think ‘A Flock of Seaguls’ it sends my memories to musical time warp right back to the 80’s!

Along the rocks in the harbor of Santa Barbara Ca. are a mass of web work with no spiders to be found. Either the spiders there are amazingly elusive or, the birds had gotten to them first!
This particular photo shows back to back to back web work between two rocks.
