A little closer look of the growing moss below the water surface and the reflections above it. The omission of rocks around the water in this shot tend to give a little more of an abstract appearance.

There is something always so serene and tranquil when sitting along waters of natural streams and creeks in deserts and forest.

A portion of a small stream found along the broken path of San Francisquito Road. To the left of the picture you can view the moss growing from the ground below the water suface while to the right of the picture you can see the reflections of leaves, trees, and sunshine above.

In the Valencia side of Santa Clarita Valley CA. at the corner of a busy intersection, is a shopping center known as the Bridgeport Marketplace. This corner of the shopping center is adorned with a very large pond with a wooden walkway that is placed right over the water. There are also antique styled street lamps along the pathway, water features, and sculptures within the water which resemble large sails, simulating the appearance of a large lake or harbor. The water and area is also stocked with wildlife like ducks, geese, fish, turtles, and other creatures which make for very enjoyable scenery. However, my time of visiting this day was in 105+ degree weather which made for a not too comfortable stay.

The father of a family of Geese had no problem posing for the camera up close and personal while the rest of the family was eating. I’m sure he was just standing guard for his family while they ate but when I got close with my camera it certainly didn’t seem to have any intention of attacking me and just stood in place as if gladly posing for the camera. As soon as his family was finished being fed, they quickly waddled off together.
