So after getting me some new hiking shoes today, I thought I’d give their soles a little grip test by visiting the local famous Vasquez Rock state park. All in all I was pretty satisfied with how well my shoes held up to the sandstone faces of the rocks but, I was much more satisfied with the views and nature to behold on today’s visit. Here is the first of more to come. Hope you enjoy.

Somewhere down the road of palmdale blvd.
I thought the sporadic rocky geological formations in the background were an interesting find. It’s always a wonder how these areas were formed so many million years ago.

Another roadside find along Palmdale blvd. around the el mirage and lake LA vicinity. I think my finger unintentionally touched the focus wheel of my lens while shooting this so i accidentally captured the shack just slightly out of focus but, i think the end result seems to have added a special unique vintage or mysterious quality to image that you can only get from a pleasant photo mistake.
