A closeup look into one of my skeletonized automatic wristwatches.
Magnificent photo of a beautiful movement.. Is that an in house movement? Or an eta?
Thank you! It’s an in house movement..possibly a chinese seagull movement. It’s on an old Android brand watch..one of their original designs. I just like the engravings in the skeletal parts and thought it would show up well on photo as it doesnt have it’s name branded all over the mechanics like some other timepieces might. 🙂
Awesome. Thanks for responding. I hear the seagull movement is rather robust. Funny because I have my eye on an Android watch now on Ebay and did not realize that the seagull was powering it. The seller did not have much information on it. In any case great photo :-).
Thanks again Marcus! Yes, from what i’ve read, the seagull movement is supossed to be pretty well built and a reliable movement. I personally havent had any troubles with any of my automatics though ( knock on wood ) wether it be swiss, japanese, or chinese.
What beautiful images!
Thank you so much!
